Hi ,
Things are a little different this week. I moved again this
weekend for the third time in 3 years...that's a lot of moving for me as Cancerian who loves the stability of home and family.
My most recent move was in December, but it wasn't a good choice. The new neighborhood was overcrowded, and it was a constant symphony of children crying, dogs barking,
and motorcycles revving their engines. Although the house was new, it didn't have any soul, and I struggled to settle in and feel at home.
Fortunately, my new home is different. I've only been here a few days, and I've already seen so many beautiful birds, including cranes, Great Blue Herons, Spoonbills,
Sandhill Cranes (with a chick!). A pair of cardinals flew over me today, and on the first night, I had a bat fly into my lanai.
This morning I sungazed as I watched the sun rise over the lake, and right now, I'm writing to you under the moonlight, listening to the crickets chirping. It's so peaceful here, and
my soul is celebrating.
Moving is hard work, especially with all of my furniture and lifetime of sacred objects, my body is soooooo tired! But it's worth it to be in this gorgeous and serene space.
Environmental peace fosters inner peace. We all deserve inner peace. YOU deserve it. The question is, what lengths are you willing to go to in order to create that peace in your life? If you are tolerating negativity, disharmony, or unrest in your life, what will it take for you to find greater peace?
Since last December, I've gone through a breakup and a move, which hasn't been easy, but it's been necessary for me to choose a life of inner peace and harmony. I've learned to work less and enjoy more, keep my mental attitude in check, and surround myself with wonderful people.
My office isn't yet video-ready and I won't be making a Tuesday video this week, but I hope to be more settled by next week.
One thing I know for sure is that inner peace is worth whatever price it demands.
What are you willing to surrender in order to invite greater peace?
