Yesterday I hosted a Zoom event to send prayer and uplifting energy to the people of Ukraine.
Many people came and joined in the prayer and conversation. It was a beautiful event. There was no mention of politics, of animosity, or of blame or wrong-doing. It was about people, prayer, and positivity, not politics.
Yesterday I also received some negative emails from people (who did not attend the prayer) who were angry at me because they believed that I was making a political statement.
I was scolded for watching the news. I was told that I was on the wrong side. I was told I didn't know what was actually going on, negative words were used.
My response to anyone who feels upset that I hosted a prayer to the Ukraine is this...
It's about PEOPLE, not politics.
Many people in Ukraine are experiencing a lot of stress, loss, and upheaval and as a collective we can send in healing, clearing, and heart-centerd, uplifting energy.
Does this mean I have a negative opinion of Russian people?
Does it mean I don't care about the numerous other parts of the world where there is suffering and war?
No, not at all. My compassion for the people of Ukraine does not mean I am somehow against the people of Russia, and it doesn't mean I don't care about the rest of the world. It doesn't mean I'm making a political statement, and it definitely doesn't mean I've been watching the news. I gave up "the news" over 20 years
ago.
What it does mean is... I care about people. I care about peace. I will use my platform to promote peace, compassion, love, and the upliftment of humanity.
The prayer circle yesterday was a beautiful gathering with great energy and lots of clearing and love sent out around the world. Everyone present came to serve, to offer love, and stand for peace. Prayers were sent out worldwide, creating a grid of peace around the earth. I am so grateful for the community who came, for those who will watch
the prayer and participate in the future, and for the genuine compassion and love that is offered in this community.
I am not angry that some people sent me negative messages yesterday. What I desire is for us all to step out of the duality and war mindset and step into love and compassion for all. We can love Ukranian and Russian people. We can have compassion and send prayers of peace to all turbulant areas of the world. We can stand for the
healing of all broken hearts. We can look within and heal our own trauma.
